StaffThere are approximately 30 staff employed by the Council on Aging, most of whom are part-time. Much of our staff are senior citizens themselves. They have retired from various careers and choose minimum wage employment with us serving their community.
VolunteersVolunteer hours help to keep our programs going. We have ladies who come every Thursday and make craft items to sell at our Easter and Christmas Craft & Bake Sales. Volunteers deliver meals to homebound seniors five days a week. They also head up many of our social activities such as Bingo, Euchre, Bowling and our Crochet group. We have free tax return preparation and outdoor jobs done by volunteers as well.
